Slaughterhouse Sewage Treatment Procedure

First of all, we need to consider the final water usage method:


Method 1: Drain into city sewage treatment grid for further treatment
Method 2: Drain into a clear water tank or basin to reuse it in the slaughterhouse, this method is the further treatment result of method 1.

 

Method 1 treatment procedure:
1. Slaughterhouse waste water will be drained into the water collection well after mechanical grid filtering; solid waste, size bigger than 20 mm, will be transferred to a cart or certain place, waiting for shipment.
2. Water in collection well will be pumped into second mechanical grid filtering; solid waste, size>5 mm, will be filtered out, will be transferred to a cart or certain place, waiting for shipment.
3. Filtered water will be drained into fat and oil separation tank, to remove the fat, oil and sediments; removed fat, oil and sediment will be stocked in a tank. After dewatering, the sediment will be shipped out.
4. Water will be drained into adjustment tank; the temperature and PH value will be adjusted here.
5. Adjusted water will be drained into air floating tank; to another fat, oil and sediment removal process.
6. The water after step 5 will be drained into first aerobic tank to remove the carbon with the help of aerobic bacteria.
7. Water after step 6 will be drained into first sedimentation tank; separated water will be drained into city sewage water system or further treated in Method 2.

 

Method 2 treatment procedure:
1. Water after first sedimentation tank will be drained into anaerobic tank; organics will turn into ammonia or ammonium
2. Water with ammonia or ammonium will be drained into second aerobic tank, where ammonia or ammonium will be subjected to nitrate.
3. Water in second aerobic tank will drain back into second anaerobic tank, facultative bacteria will remove oxide from nitrate, which will transmit nitrate into nitrogen and get back to the air.
4. Water after bio treatment will drain into second sedimentation tank; mud and water will separate with each other. Top clear level will be drained into middle storage tank.
5. Water in middle storage tank will be pumped into fiber ball filter, to remove the suspended solid.
6. Filtered water will be drained into clear water tank for reuse.

 

Water in clear water tank may need disinfection procedure on demand.

 

Dewater machine is horizontal screw type rotary machine.
Water will stay in adjustment tank for 18 to 25 hours.
